The story of Eldi Bakery

I have always loved baking for family and friends. When the pandemic started, I started making bagels, sticky buns, and pies and dropping them off on friends’ porches or sending them with my husband to work. People kept saying, you should sell these, and I thought, why not? I started making and selling baked goods from my home.

My husband and I are both physicians, and I left the field to raise our two young children. The same passion and attention to detail I had for medicine, I now put into my baking.

The name Eldi comes from spelling out the first letters of our childrens’ names, L and D. My family are my biggest supporters and most honest critics!
